Lens Cap LC-SR-02 for Leica Hood 12524 & 12526 by Match Technical
The newĀ Lens Cap LC-SR-02Ā by Match Technical is designed to replace the Leica Hood Cap 14043, designed for the 12524 and 12526 lens hoods. These hoods are commonly found on the following M-System lenses:
- Summicron-M 35mm f/2 ASPH (11879 & 11882)
- Summicron-M 35mm f/2 (11310)
- Elmarit-M 28mm f/2.8 ASPH (11606)
Manufactured from proprietary rubber, the new cap is designed specifically for the Elmarit-M 28mm f/2.8 and Summicron-M 35mm f/2 lenses with compact sunshade. This offers the ultimate dust protection and will not allow dust to enter around the beveled edges of the sunshade. Two lanyards, fashioned in black or red are included with the cap.
Please note, this is a hood cap, not a lens cap, and will not work on the most recent versions of the Summicron-M 35mm f/2 ASPH or Elmarit-M 28mm f/2.8 ASPH lenses still sold new.
