In order to create a delicate gradation of colors, it requires the sophisticated techniques of experienced artisans based on the accurate calculation of each silk thread, dyed in different color ratios before weaving. Additionally, manufacturing a camera strap where the gradation patterns appear symmetrical when hanging from the neck was particularly challenging. After years of trial and error with the artisans, this item was finally realized.

A new technique called “Hiramaru-Karagumi” was developed to weave this high-quality camera strap with a beautiful gradation of colors. By inserting a core string, also woven with silk, into the core of the “Hira-Karagumi,” a traditional weaving technique known for its durability and high density, the weave becomes “Hiramaru-Karagumi.” This technique further enhances strength and creates an oval cross-section for the strap, providing a stress-free user experience with a gentle feel around the neck.
